We’re looking for a Marketing Consultant who understands the value of community-based marketing and wants to help businesses succeed through creative, multi-platform campaigns. With this role you will establish and grow our presence in our new radio market. This role is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to lead sales efforts, build client relationships, and develop a territory.
This position is in our Maryville, MO market with station KBCT, as well as our online news service the Maryville Post.
Position Summary:
As a Marketing Consultant in Maryville, you’ll work directly with local business owners, organizations, and regional advertisers to develop and sell strategic marketing campaigns. This role requires a motivated, people-oriented individual who thrives on building relationships and creating solutions that matter in a small-town setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing advertisers in the Maryville and Northwest Missouri area.
- Identify business needs and present tailored marketing strategies using a mix of radio, digital, social media, streaming, and community events.
- Prospect for new business through in-person visits, networking events, university partnerships, and local engagement.
- Maintain regular face-to-face client meetings to discuss campaign performance and growth opportunities.
- Stay actively involved in the community to understand market trends and represent Eagle at community events.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of outside sales, marketing, or media experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate with strong interpersonal skills and a local connection).
- Strong connection to Maryville/Nodaway County is a plus.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- A community-first mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
Salary:
Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid vacation and ESOP (employee stock ownership plan).

Salary : $30,000 - $40,000
