Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures, estimated costs, and timelines clearly to clients
- Utilize estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to prepare accurate repair estimates
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, and diagnostics based on customer needs
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain detailed service records, write service orders, and manage documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates and additional recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining excellent client communication
- Leverage dealership experience and automotive diagnostics knowledge to advise customers confidently on vehicle repairs or maintenance options
- Promote automotive repair services including collision repair, transmission work, suspension, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, auto body repair, and more
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership environment
- Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and repair processes such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics
- Ability to upsell services ethically while maintaining trust with clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Dealership experience is highly desirable; familiarity with auto estimating systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in service writing and documentation

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
