Receptionist – Auto Dealership

As our new receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our dealership. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable receptionist.  This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience for our customers while supporting daily front office operations.

Job Responsibilities

• First and foremost you will not just be answering phones!  There is plenty of daily work to keep you busy.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.  Get their name and find out nature of business, then help direct them to the appropriate department.
• Answer and direct incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail
• Basic computer skills (microsoft office, excel)
• Perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, data entry, filing, photocopying and sending emails.
• This position will handle all daily cash sales that are turned in by Service & Parts.  This includes receipting in money and making entries into our accounting system.
• Handle all dealer trade driver logs and write checks as needed.  
• Prepare all dealer trade paperwork on outgoing and incoming units. 
• Running daily errands for the accounting office which include - Bank Deposit, Tax Office pickups/drop offs, and post office drop offs.
• Stocking in all incoming inventory - Vehicles and Kawasaki's.  

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; Dealership experience preferred but not required; We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and can represent our dealership with professionalism and warmth.  The right candidate is attentive, personable, and able to stay composed while managing multiple tasks.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience.
