Job Summary:
The Automotive Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing invoices, preparing billing statements, and maintaining financial records for all vehicle sales, parts/service sales, and related transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of billing information, including vehicle details, pricing, and customer information.
- Reconcile schedules as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Communicate with customers and other departments regarding billing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership, state, and federal regulations related to billing and financial transactions.
- Payroll & Commissions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive billing or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience Reynolds & Reynolds software is preferred.
