IT Facilities Program Consultant
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Facilities Program Consultant to support global facilities and workplace technology initiatives for a large enterprise environment. This role will serve as the key liaison between IT, Facilities, Real Estate, and external vendors to ensure successful planning, coordination, and delivery of IT infrastructure and workplace technology solutions across global locations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing IT execution for new buildings, site expansions, conference room deployments, smart workplace technologies, and data center infrastructure projects. This position requires excellent program management capabilities, executive communication skills, and deep understanding of enterprise workplace technologies.
Key Responsibilities
IT & Facilities Program Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT, Facilities, Real Estate, and third-party vendors.
- Lead and coordinate IT activities for:
- New building construction and site expansions
- Conference room and collaboration space buildouts
- Data center, MDF, and IDF room design and implementations
- Smart workplace and modern facilities technology initiatives
- Drive end-to-end execution of facilities-related IT programs across multiple global regions.
Infrastructure & Workplace Technology Coordination
- Coordinate delivery efforts across IT teams including:
- Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Structured Cabling)
- End User Computing & Workplace Technology
- Unified Communications (Teams, Zoom, Telephony, Conferencing)
- Data Center Infrastructure (Power, Cooling, Racks, Cabling)
- Ensure alignment between facilities construction schedules and IT deployment timelines.
Facilities Applications & Smart Workplace Technologies
- Support and coordinate enterprise facilities applications including:
- IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management Systems)
- Space Planning & Utilization Platforms
- Conference Room Booking Solutions
- Smart Workplace Technologies
- Contribute to modernization initiatives involving AI-enabled workplace technologies and automation solutions.
Program & Project Management
- Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation activities.
- Facilitate status meetings, stakeholder reviews, and steering committee discussions.
- Utilize enterprise project management tools such as Primavera, ClickUp, and Microsoft Project.
- Define, document, and improve operational workflows and delivery processes for facilities-related IT initiatives.
Reporting & Financial Coordination
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX planning activities.
- Track project costs, variances, and resource allocation.
- Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and program status reports.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, and Reporting & Metrics Tracking.
Required Qualifications

- 7-10 years of experience in:
- IT Program Management
- IT Infrastructure Delivery
- Technical Project Management
- Facilities Technology Programs
- Proven experience supporting facilities or corporate real estate-driven IT initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and workplace technologies.
- Experience delivering global projects across US, EMEA, and APAC/Asia regions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and global teams.
