We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Director / Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a multi-entity organization. This role will be responsible for month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, audit management, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and financial reporting processes.
- Oversee consolidations and intercompany accounting activities.
- Ensure balance sheet integrity through account reconciliations and review procedures.
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
- Manage annual external audits and support compliance requirements.
- Drive accounting process improvements and systems initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and mentor accounting team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA required.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience in a multi-entity environment.
- ERP system experience required.
- Manufacturing or industrial industry experience preferred.
- Experience working within a global organization is a plus.
