JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees daily operations and smooth functioning of the ambulatory department enterprise wide, including project management, system development and monitoring

• Supports leadership in key objectives and initiatives throughout the enterprise
• Manages day to day operations of Epic Ambulatory department, inclusive of new projects & initiatives as well as working closely with other clinicals areas to ensure system efficiencies
• Directly oversees Epic Ambulatory staff members and aids in the success of all individuals on team
• Conduct regular assessments and/or performance appraisals for staff members
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Ambulatory team members, as well as colleagues across enterprise, as needed
• Team size: 30 with 2 supervisors
• ONSITE Role - RELO BONUS: $10k-$15k based on location

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other Health Care related field or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience of 5 years within a healthcare environment
• Relevant Information Systems analyst experience of 5 years
• Experience with large areas of responsibility - we have over 1300 clinics throughout WV, MD, PA and Ohio and Monthly M&A activity -Clinical Help Desk, Home Health and Hospice, Community Connect
• Epic Certification preferred
• Travel is RARE but for milestones
• Epic experience is not required but preferred. If not, Oracle or Meditech AMB is required
• Able to establish and meet delivery dates
• Ability to manage multiple projects and issues adjusting priorities as needed
• Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to analyze issues, assess technical risks, and recommend sound solutions in a timely manner
• Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies, and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong problem and issue resolution experience and create quality deliverables

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time. Feeling is required over 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time. The ability to travel to field sites may be required up to 15% of the time.
WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions. Exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable is present in only unusual situations.

PAY RANGE

Pay range for this position is $135K-$148K annually
