Overview:
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy, organization, and smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Prepare and package outgoing orders
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Label, sort, and organize products in the warehouse
- Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping and receiving (preferred)
- Basic computer and inventory system skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Forklift certification is an asset
