Position Summary:
The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting product quality to ensure materials meet company and customer standards. This role requires attention to detail, basic laboratory skills, and the ability to follow set procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tests and inspections on products and materials
- Record and document test results accurately
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
- Report any quality issues or defects to supervisors
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures
- Keep the lab clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Assist with sample preparation and data entry
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in a science field is a plus)
- Basic lab or quality control experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures
- Good communication and basic computer skills
Work Environment:
- Lab setting with routine testing tasks
- May require standing for extended periods
