Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely and correct delivery.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support overall restaurant operations.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and order processing.
- Experience with food industry tools such as serving trays, bussing supplies, and kitchen communication
- Must have reliable transportation
- Pay: Hourly tips
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
