IBM WebMethods Administrator

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in IBM webMethods Administration
- Experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, and JVM tuning
- Database knowledge: Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience in 24x7 production support environments
Role Summary
The IBM WebMethods Administrator will be responsible for administration, stability, upgrades, performance optimization, and production support of the webMethods integration platform across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch IBM webMethods components:
- Integration Server
- Universal Messaging/Broker
- Command Central
- My webMethods Server (MWS)
- Optimize
- Manage DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments
- Handle production support, incident management, RCA, and issue resolution
- Analyze logs, heap dumps, and thread dumps for troubleshooting
- Perform JVM tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning
- Support HA/DR setup, backup, and recovery planning
- Manage SSL certificates, LDAP integration, users, roles, and ACLs
- Automate deployments and operational tasks using scripting and Command Central
- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and security teams
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of webMethods Designer and coding
- Experience with cloud/hybrid integration platforms
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- webMethods certifications preferred
