Role: DevSecOps - Sr. Developer - Infrastructure

Location: Iselin NJ / Charlotte NC (100% Onsite)

Position Overview

We are looking for 5 Senior Developers with a strong Infrastructure and Application Security background to join our Platform Engineering team at a top-tier financial institution. In this senior individual contributor and portfolio management role, you will interface with multiple Lines of Business (LOBs), manage complex infrastructure portfolios, and ensure security and compliance standards are embedded across all platform layers. This role demands both technical depth and leadership maturity to coordinate cross-functional teams at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage large-scale infrastructure and application platform portfolios across multiple LOBs.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between infrastructure teams, security, and business stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and implement secure infrastructure solutions adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead security-integrated infrastructure projects from planning through delivery, ensuring risk and vulnerability controls are in place.
• Manage vendor and team communications, coordinating across distributed teams and multiple time zones.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on infrastructure security hardening.
• Oversee the product lifecycle for infrastructure platforms, from ideation through decommissioning.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation pipelines for secure deployments.
• Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure security posture through gap analysis and remediation planning.
• Report portfolio status, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and the CISO organization.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in infrastructure development, platform engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Strong application security background with expertise in vulnerability management and secure infrastructure design.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure portfolios across multiple business units in a large enterprise.
• Demonstrated management experience – ability to coordinate, guide, and influence multiple teams simultaneously.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and server/container security.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Product Lifecycle Management from an infrastructure perspective.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent cloud certifications.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications.
• Experience in financial services regulatory environments (PCI-DSS, SOX, FFIEC guidelines).
