We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist in preparing operating rooms, ensuring sterile environments, and supporting surgical teams during procedures. Duties
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly prior to procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies during surgeries.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) by accurately documenting surgical procedures, supplies used, and patient information.
- Monitor surgical environments continuously for safety compliance and readiness throughout procedures.
- Support specialized areas such as hyperbaric medicine by preparing necessary equipment and materials.
- Assist with post-operative cleanup, sterilization of instruments, and restocking supplies for upcoming surgeries.
MUST HAVE:
- 5 years current CST experience [REQUIRED] - NON NEGOTIABLE [REQUIRED]
- General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (inc total joints) Neuro/Head/Spine and Trauma experience [required]
- MUST BE ABLE TO PRECEPT [REQUIRED]
- C-Section, ENT, Plastics, DaVinci Robot experience [preferred]
- NBSTSA [REQUIRED] (NCCT not accepted)
- Meditech Expanse experience [highly preferred]
- Travel experience [REQUIRED] - NON NEGOTIABLE. First time travelers will not be considered
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
