E&R Campus Laundry is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager / Business Development professional to join our team. This role is central to promoting our laundry services, expanding our customer base, and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with educational institutions.
The position is weighted 40% sales-focused activities (driving growth and revenue) and 60% retention and administrative responsibilities (ensuring excellent service, accuracy, and operational support).
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (40%)
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the educational sector.
- Create and deliver customized proposals and agreements to prospective clients.
- Implement initiatives to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage academic and summer sales calendars to align with delivery/workflow.
- Support school registration schedules and drive registration growth.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads (school promos, flyers, digital outreach).
- Create compelling marketing materials (brochures, presentations, web/digital content).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing school partners and clients.
- Work with schools to set pricing, develop marketing initiatives and work with students (laundrapreneurs ) in servicing students.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain and update knowledge base of academic year pricing, school contacts, and agreements.
- Respond to customer inquiries with timely, accurate information.
- Audit and update the website for accuracy (back end and front-end verification).
- Provide market research insights to support retention and growth initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably B2B.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the educational sector is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing tools.
