We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Recycling Coordinator to lead our recycling initiatives and promote sustainable practices within our organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recycling programs that align with organizational goals and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate events related to recycling awareness, including workshops, community outreach, and educational seminars.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for recycling services and materials management.
- Manage budgets for recycling initiatives and events, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maximizing impact.
- Upsell recycling services to internal departments and external partners, promoting the benefits of sustainable practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to recycling efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that highlight recycling programs and events.
- Organize events that promote recycling awareness within the community, including fundraising activities and partnerships with local organizations.
- Maintain accurate records of recycling metrics and report on program effectiveness to stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in event marketing, planning, or management, preferably in a hospitality or environmental context.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective engagement with diverse audiences.
- Background in negotiation and budgeting to ensure successful program implementation.
- Experience in customer service roles that emphasize guest satisfaction and relationship building.

Pay: $22.05 - $29.56 per hour
