What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Coordinator position at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School?
The Facilities Coordinator is an important position to the operation of the school. The regular hours for this position will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday. The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Director of Facilities and the Middle School Operations Manager.

The following is a general list of responsibilities of the position—additional duties will be assigned.
- Assist Operations Manager with daily tasks including, but not limited to, shared space cleaning, small repairs, etc.
- Maintain up-to-date Food Handlers License.
- Assume Food Service Coordinator responsibilities when the coordinator is unavailable.
- Maintain grounds as needed.
- Work with contracted evening cleaners, operations managers, and other facilities staff to ensure a proper inventory of supplies.
- Ensure that school gymnasium is cleaned/dusted weekly and as necessary.
- Ensure that bathrooms are cleaned throughout the day, and free of graffiti.
- Prepare for evening events at all campuses as needed, including taking out trash from common spaces, spot cleaning bathrooms, furniture setup, etc.
- Support the Operations Manager by performing and coordinating minor plumbing, electrical, and light construction repairs.
- Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
