Starting salary range: $46,739 - $71,908 (Starting salary is determined based on years of relevant experience.)

You Will
- Assist the Athletic Director in supervising the High School and Middle School athletic programs, including recommending and implementing policies and procedures.
- Assist the Athletic Director in the development, management, and implementation of the annual athletic budget.
- Assist with the development of interscholastic athletic schedules and officials’ schedules for all contests.
- Coordinate transportation for all athletic practices and contests.
- Coordinate support personnel for athletic contests, including game management, ticket sales, security, athletic trainer, emergency personnel, and related apparatus.
- Assist the Athletic Director in the supervision, support, training, and evaluation of athletic coaches to ensure fulfillment of their job requirements.
- Implement and monitor the Athletic Code of Conduct for students, coaches, and, when applicable, spectators.
- Assist in the supervision and game-day management of all contests.
- Represent ELH, as needed, at conference, state, or national meetings related to the administration of interscholastic athletics.
- Assist in ensuring that all applicable laws, regulations, and school policies related to athletics are understood, applied, and followed, including Title IX.
- Create and distribute materials to publicize athletic and sporting events (print and electronic) to enhance awareness and promote attendance and support from students, staff, families, and the broader community.
- Maintain professional relationships with media sources and provide timely information regarding schedules, postponements/cancellations, results, statistics, and records.
- Coordinate ancillary activities associated with athletic events (e.g., musical performances, scorer’s table operations, halftime programs, police coverage, on-site medical care, concessions, custodial services).
- Handle all accidents and injuries in accordance with school policies and applicable laws, including timely reporting and documentation.
- Maintain records and documentation necessary to track athletic program activities, participation, events, and outcomes in compliance with school policies and applicable regulations.
- Travel to local schools, athletic facilities, competitions, and professional meetings as required.
- If necessary, coach team(s) and provide instruction for sports programs as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
- Ability to move throughout campus and athletic facilities for extended periods.
- Physically able to attend and actively engage with coaches, game officials, and student-athletes indoors and outdoors year-round.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport athletic equipment and materials safely.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required for practices, games, and events.
You Have
- Proven, hands-on experience in high school, college, or community sports is required.
- Experience working with youth in academic or athletic settings.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations related to interscholastic athletics, safety, and health (including Title IX and other relevant regulations).
- Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement athletic programs, activities, and events, and to make effective recommendations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and tight timelines.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners.
- Ability to engage in ongoing self-evaluation related to leadership, performance, and professional growth.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (CDL preferred).
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience as a sports administrator, program coordinator, or in a similar athletic role is strongly preferred.
- Oral and/or written proficiency in Spanish.
