Job Summary
The purpose of the Purchase Order Specialist is to maintain the purchasing policy and ensure that all purchases adhere to it.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build dropship POs from emailed information, deal buys and preseason orders.
- Communicate with store locations for missing information.
- Build new SKUs as needed.
- Communicate with store locations with completed POs
- Research PO requests from accounting department to prevent duplicate POs
- Analyze multiple reports and make recommendations.
- Maintain sale items, weekly, monthly and/or seasonal promotions.
- Maintain special sale pricing
- Update weekly newsletter
- Create special signs for unique sale items (Item of the Month, Limited Time Offers, Special Promotions, etc.).
- Maintain price increase/decrease changes for non RSC items.
- Maintain the compliance for Bindy.
- Entering drop ship orders using vendor portals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
- Strong communication skills
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Attention to detail
- High School Diploma/GED
- Prior PO experience preferred
