Overview of the Position
We're looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Home Inspector to join our team at EGA Inspection. As a veteran-owned company serving the greater Sacramento area since 2016, we pride ourselves on thorough, respectful, and family-minded service. Our ideal candidate will have previous home inspection experience and a strong understanding of homes and their systems, ideally with a background in the construction trades.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed residential property inspections, including pools, sewer lines, and mold testing.
- Complete concise, professional reports following InterNACHI Standards of Practice and EGA’s SOPs.
- Communicate findings clearly to clients and real estate agents, ensuring they understand the condition of the property.
Requirements
- Must be InterNACHI certified (either Certified Professional Inspector, CPI, or Certified Master Inspector, CMI).
- Must have passed the National Home Inspector Exam.
- FAA Part 107 certification is required for drone use in inspections.
- Previous home inspection experience is highly recommended. Experience in sewer line inspections, pool inspections, and air quality or mold testing is highly desirable.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $60,000 to $90,000 per year depending on experience, plus we offer a retirement plan.
- Training & Equipment: After successful training, we provide a company vehicle, uniforms, tools, phone, tablet, and computer—all covered by EGA Inspection.
- Benefits: We provide errors and omissions (E&O) insurance, but please note we do not offer medical insurance. We also cover InterNACHI membership dues.
