Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC Milling Machines making components for medical devices. This role is from an entry level role up to someone with medium experience. The Machine Operator will play a critical role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The workweek is hour days with opportunities for elective overtime.
**$500 Sign on Bonus Paid after 90 days of successful probation period**
Duties
- Operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Being able to assist in tooling setup and changeovers to minimize downtime during production runs is a plus.
- Document production activities accurately and report any issues or deviations from quality standards.
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience is welcome, training will be conducted on the job. Being able to demonstrate previous experience dictates entry pay.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints accurately is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in machining processes, tooling setup, welding, fabrication techniques, and materials handling.
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes.
- Experience with factory safety protocols and the operation of hand tools in an assembly or fabrication environment.
- Strong math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
- Warehouse experience or background in manufacturing facilities is preferred but not required.
