e&e is seeking a Senior Geospatial Solutions Architect for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!

Seeking a Senior Geospatial Solutions Architect to lead the design and integration of enterprise GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise. This role bridges GIS and enterprise IT, delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing geospatial architectures that integrate with business systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise geospatial solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise
• Develop architecture frameworks, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps
• Integrate GIS with enterprise systems (ERP, asset management, traffic systems, databases) using APIs, ETL/ELT, and middleware
• Build and automate data workflows using Python, SQL, and geoprocessing tools
• Develop and manage geospatial data models and enterprise geodatabases
• Lead technical design sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Support cloud migration, system optimization, and performance monitoring
• Evaluate emerging GIS technologies and contribute to strategic planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise GIS solutions with ArcGIS Enterprise
• Strong background in system integration, APIs, and data interoperability
• Proficiency with Esri tools (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)
• Experience with Python, SQL, and geospatial data modeling
• Knowledge of enterprise databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience integrating GIS with transportation or asset-based systems
• Understanding of data governance, security, and modern development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred

• GISP or Esri certifications
• Experience with cloud-based GIS and modernization initiatives
