Position Title: Deployment Coordinator
Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid
Work Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid, with up to 25% travel required and occasional weekend work based on business needs.
Position Summary
The Deployment Coordinator supports global deployment operations by coordinating personnel travel, readiness requirements, documentation, and compliance for OCONUS missions. This role serves as the primary coordination point between deployers, program teams, and internal support functions to ensure personnel are fully prepared and cleared for international assignments.
While a coordinator level role, the Deployment Coordinator also leads development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), readiness tracking processes, and cross functional workflows that support efficient and compliant deployments.

Salary: $60,000-$85,000 annually
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.

Required Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as the central coordination point for all deployment‑related travel and readiness actions for OCONUS missions.
- Support and process visa applications, country entry/exit requirements, and ensure compliance with stay limitations and passport validity rules.
- Maintain and monitor deployer readiness in alignment with program expectations, contract requirements, and deployment timelines.
- Manage and update the company’s Deployment Readiness Tracker to ensure all personnel meet medical, training, vaccination, and documentation requirements prior to travel.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deployment packages and required documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for deployment and mobility processes, including emergency travel workflows.
- Track and communicate updates to international travel regulations, host nation requirements, and Department of State or DoD advisories relevant to deployments.
- Process contract‑required travel documents such as government travel approvals, LOAs, country clearances, and related compliance forms.
- Maintain organized mobility and deployment records, including databases for visas, passports, and deployment cycles.
- Planning and coordinating complex deployment itineraries, including restricted or austere operating environments.
- Provide deployers with briefings on travel expectations, required documentation, and country‑specific considerations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, export and security regulations, and travel‑related contract terms.
- Serve as a resource during audits or compliance reviews related to deployment readiness and travel documentation.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of operational objectives.
- Experience supporting OCONUS deployments in government, defense, or contractor environments.
- Working knowledge of international travel processes, visa requirements, and country entry regulations.
- Familiarity with government travel documentation requirements, including country clearances and LOA processes.
- Strong organizational abilities with capability to coordinate multiple deployments simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to interpret travel regulations, immigration guidance, and host nation requirements.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and/or travel coordination systems.
- Familiarity with DoD travel systems (APACS, DTS, etc.) if applicable to future deployment structures.
- Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and secure travel considerations, including preparation of personnel who may hand‑carry controlled items.
- Experience in fast‑paced operational settings or austere/contingency environments.
- Bachelor's degree in business, International Relations, Logistics, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
