Duties
- Provide group instruction tailored to meet the needs of a growing class.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning goals.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to enhance student understanding and retention of material.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to support students' overall development.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, including attendance and progress reports.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or coaching capacity is essential.
- Background in subjects relevant to the classes listed, such as Coding, Minecraft, or Science and Legos
- Skills in behavior management to effectively address diverse social and emotional learning needs.
- Experience in early childhood education or special education is desirable.
- Familiarity with sports coaching, theater, camp activities, or childcare can be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- A dedicated instructor who is punctual and committed to the semester if not the year.
