What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revit Drafter/Junior Architect position at DYO?
DYO design office is seeking an Architectural Intern to join our team.
Our office is a boutique architectural firm operating in NY and other states. We work mainly providing architectural services for luxury retail, and commercial and residential renovations design. The position involves mainly the preparation of drawing sets with a given design. PROFICIENCY IN REVIT IS REQUIRED. this is a 6 month job offer that could become a permanent position.
The position will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborate with the Principal and Project Manager to develop and execute a design solution that meets client’s needs and that meets the client’s requirements.
- develop drawing sets including bid, cd and permit.
- implement plans, specifications for construction projects.
- Perform site visits,
- Provide support to Project Managers on projects as needed.
- Assist with other design related duties as assigned by the Principal or Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in the use of REVIT. Candidate needs to be proficient in REVIT and be able to easily produce sets In a timely matter.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university required;

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
