This role requires a developer with strong Apex and automation skills who can build scalable, integration-heavy solutions. The primary focus is Sales Cloud, with meaningful exposure to Service Cloud modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Apex solutions, including Batch, Queueable, Schedulable, and Future classes, to support high-volume after-sales service processes
- Build and optimize Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen, Scheduled, Auto- launched) to automate case lifecycle, service escalation, and follow-up workflows
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, warranty, parts management, logistics) to ensure real-time data consistency
- Implement and support Sales Cloud processes (Leads, Opportunities, Quotes) as needed
- Write robust Apex test classes maintaining 85% code coverage with meaningful assertions
- Participate in code reviews, deployment planning, and release management
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize governor limit usage, and resolve integration failures
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong Apex proficiency — must have real-world experience building Batch Apex, Queueable chains, Schedulable jobs, and complex trigger frameworks
- API integration experience — REST and SOAP callouts, Named Credentials, platform events, and middleware connectivity
- Flow automation expertise — building and migrating complex Flows including scheduled paths, subflows, and fault handling
- Sales Cloud working knowledge — Leads, Opportunities, Products, Price Books
- Service Cloud familiarity — Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Service Console configuration
- Familiarity with Einstein AI capabilities and Agentforce — understanding of how AI-driven agents, next-best-action recommendations, and generative AI features can enhance service and sales workflows
- Solid understanding of SOQL/SOSL optimization, bulkification patterns, and governor limit management
- Experience with data migration tools (Data Loader, Bulk API)
- Proficiency in SFDX, VS Code, Git-based deployments
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification
- Sales Cloud Consultant certification
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or after-sales service domains
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components
- Familiarity with OmniStudio, CPQ, or Experience Cloud
- Experience with large-scale org migrations or consolidation projects
What Sets a Great Candidate Apart
- Can walk through a real Batch Apex solution they built — the problem, design choices, error handling, and how they managed governor limits at scale
- Has integrated Salesforce with at least one external system end-to-end (not just consumed a pre-built connector)
