Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP QA Engineer to support testing activities across SAP modules and business processes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP functional testing, test case preparation, defect tracking, regression testing, and end-to-end business process validation. Experience with Tricentis Tosca is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to design effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing across SAP applications.
- Validate SAP business processes across relevant modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, WM/EWM, HCM, or SuccessFactors, depending on project needs.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results clearly.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with functional consultants, developers, business users, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support User Acceptance Testing, including test data preparation and issue triage.
- Participate in test planning, test estimation, test execution reporting, and daily defect calls.
- Ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Support automation initiatives where applicable.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 years of experience in software testing, with hands-on experience in SAP QA / SAP testing.
- Good understanding of SAP business processes and at least one major SAP module.
- Strong experience in test case design, test execution, defect logging, and regression testing.
- Experience with SAP test cycles such as SIT, UAT, regression, and post-production validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking or test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM / Quality Center, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Ability to understand functional specifications, configuration documents, and business process flows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for SAP test automation.
- Knowledge of Tosca Commander, test case creation, modules, execution lists, and reusable components.
- Experience automating SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, or web-based SAP applications.
- Exposure to S/4HANA testing or SAP migration / implementation projects.
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks and continuous testing practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- SAP functional knowledge or certification is a plus.
- ISTQB or other QA certification is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
