Bookkeeper

Location: Canby, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: President / Corporate Finance

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper supports day-to-day accounting operations for our Canby location, ensuring accurate financial records, transaction processing, and reporting in coordination with Dynon corporate accounting. This role will play a key part in the transition to Microsoft Business Central and maintaining financial consistency across locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys ownership of daily financial processes while partnering with a larger corporate finance team. The focus of this role is transactional accuracy, recordkeeping, and accounting support rather than office administration or operational management.

This position is an individual contributor role and does not include supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

This role works collaboratively with local leadership and administrative staff while maintaining primary responsibility for assigned accounting processes.

Success in this role comes from consistency, attention to detail, and reliability in completing core accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices and payments
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
  • Maintain accurate vendor records

Accounts Receivable

  • Generate customer invoices
  • Monitor receivables and assist with collections
  • Post customer payments

Transaction Processing & Reconciliation

  • Record financial transactions in ERP/accounting systems
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Assist with month-end close processes

Reporting & Compliance Support

  • Assist corporate accounting with reporting requests
  • Maintain organized financial documentation
  • Support audits and financial reviews as needed

System Transition Support

  • Participate in migration to Microsoft Business Central
  • Help maintain data accuracy during system transition

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
  • Experience with a business accounting system required
  • Microsoft Business Central experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing or distribution environment experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems
