What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tooling Technician position at Dynax America Corporation?
Dynax America Corporation is a manufacturer of automatic transmission components, friction-based parts for use in automobiles, which mainly consists of clutch discs, blades, and synchronizer rings. We are a well established company in business in Botetourt County for over 25 years. We offer a competitive salary with many opportunities for advancement.
Summary of Duties: Responsible for supporting production and prototype operations by setting and adjusting stamping dies and managing tooling inventory. Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience working with hand tools and measuring instruments. Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly. Ability to read mechanical drawings is preferred.
SCHEDULE: WEEKENDS (FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY) 7:00AM TO 7:00PM
SECOND SHIFT (MONDAY THRU FRIDAY) 3:00PM TO 11:30PM
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent
