We're hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Deployments for an early-stage AI company building simulated environments, realistic data, and challenging tasks that help frontier models develop more capable and reliable behavior. The company works with frontier AI labs, hyperscalers, and enterprises, is backed by Sequoia, and is growing quickly.

This role sits inside an entirely technical team. You will build robust environments and tasks that sit just beyond the reach of today's frontier models, investigate immediate bottlenecks, and create systems that raise the quality and scale of future work. The company is particularly interested in former founders and early-stage engineers who combine execution, research taste, and close attention to detail.

Location: San Francisco or New York, on-site
Compensation: $400K to $500K salary plus meaningful equity
Stage: Early-stage, backed by Sequoia
Focus: AI-agent evaluation environments, realistic data, and deployments
Customers: Frontier AI labs, hyperscalers, and enterprises

• Have founded a company, worked as an early engineer, or owned outcomes in a high-agency environment
• Are a strong technical generalist who can work across engineering, research, and non-engineering problems
