Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients. We are is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer to support contract work out of San Diego, CA.
ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
- Identify systems engineering process improvements and enforce their execution across the organization.
- Perform engineering functions such as developing operational systems concepts, performing system trade studies, originating design concepts, or performing systems-level test and integration test for highly complex systems
- Assist in defining system requirements and technical specifications for C4I systems
- Work with end users to troubleshoot and fix issues
- Document configuration parameters and workflows
- Ensure systems are properly configured and maintained
- Plan, organize, troubleshoot, and direct the analysis and resolution of complex process and system problems
- Manage test scheduling and operations to ensure deadlines are met
- Apply a working knowledge of network architectures, computing systems, communications systems and unique hardware aspects of distributed data communications environments for testing sensors using real-time networks
- Track project execution to ensure deadlines are met
- Plan and evaluate architectural design
- Review system performance and identify technical risks and associated risk mitigation approaches
- Provide technical recommendations to team members and managers. Outline and communicate effective technical approaches for systems engineering activities.
- Adopt innovative methods or approaches to solve systems engineering technical problems
Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Science in Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience; or
- Associate's Degree plus 8 years of additional relevant experience; or
- 8 years relevant work experience
- MCP or MCSE with Hyper V Certification or experience
- Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program (DODM 8140.03, Attachment J-02) and Identification, Tracking, and Reporting of Cyberspace Workforce Requirements (DODI 8140.02, Attachment J-03) Qualification for Advanced Systems Developer (632) or current equivalent in the case where the current DOD issuance is superseded.
