Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Valve Technician located in Odessa, TX. The Valve Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and testing various types of valves and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting valve issues, conducting routine maintenance, performing pressure and functional testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Documentation of all work performed and collaboration with team members and supervisors to meet client requirements will also be part of the role. Ability to adapt to the needs of the workflow.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in valve repair, testing, and maintenance techniques
- Understanding of safety and equipment operation standards
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use tools, read blueprints, and follow technical instructions
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding on-site environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in a related field is a plus
- Previous experience working with valves in oil and gas, manufacturing, or industrial environments is highly desirable
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and perform physical labor as required
