What You'll Be Responsible For
- Manage high-volume invoice entry while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify invoice information, coding, and authorization requirements before processing.
- Coordinate invoice approvals and proactively follow up to keep workflows moving efficiently.
- Maintain organized digital files and supporting financial documentation.
- Execute recurring payment processing activities, including weekly check runs.
- Investigate and resolve vendor account discrepancies and payment-related questions.
- Assist with month-end accounts payable activities and reporting support.
- Collaborate with accounting leadership and team members on special projects and administrative tasks.
- Safeguard confidential financial information and maintain data integrity across all transactions.
- Utilize accounting and workflow systems including Sage 300, HH2 Document Flow, and Microsoft Office tools.
To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring
- 1 years of Accounts Payable experience in Construction industry, including invoice processing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with subcontractor billing, vendor invoice processing, and project-based accounting environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong data entry, organization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable processes is highly valued.
- Construction industry experience and familiarity with Sage 300 or HH2 Document Flow are preferred.
- A proactive, accountable, and team-oriented approach to work.
