What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Project Manager position at Dynamic NC?
Job Summary:
Draft, negotiate, and monitor aircraft sales contract activities and change in forecasts, domestic and international. Responsible for contract processing procedures and activities, reviews contract requests and proposals, and serves in a liaison capacity across departments. Works closely with the customer, production control, and managers to ensure effective working relationships and resolution of contract issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reviews customer purchase orders to assess requirements and validate price and lead time.
- Process and maintain customer purchase orders (PO's) utilizing our Syteline MRP system.
- Communicating via email and phone with all internal and external customers with utmost professionalism, dignity, and respect.
- Effectively communicate with all internal support functions.
- Effectively communicate any PO issues, or delays to customers, management, etc.
- Follows daily/monthly sales expectations.
- Generate shippers in accordance with each customers preferences.
- Communicate with Logistics on load and shipping support.
- Work with customer on past dues and under mins to avoid late hits.
- Work closely with production control on priorities (past dues, line stoppers, etc.)
- Communicate with purchasing for materials and hardware to ensure we can meet our deadlines.
- Assign RMA's and returning parts to customers.
- Work RFQ's from customer and provide to estimating.
- Provide correct documents to logistics (QA forms, source inspection, etc.)
- Attend Department and Company Meetings.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience.
- Adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.
- Familiar with planning and ERP software, Syteline a plus.
- Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support.
- Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
- Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
Hours:
- Monday - Friday 8-10 hour shifts. Some weekends required.
