Job Summary
This senior-level role requires strong leadership, educational background, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead the strategic vision, design, and continued growth of the program. The Principal is responsible for managing daily operations, setting school culture, and improving academic performance. They hire and evaluate staff, manage budgets, ensure campus safety, and interact with students, parents, and the community. INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP: Developing curriculum standards, observing classroom instruction, providing feedback to teachers, and implementing professional development programs. Overseeing implementation of IEPs; teaming with the BCBA with Behavior Intervention Plans, further develop academic and behavioral programs; overseeing student data systems with heavy emphasis on analyzing educational and program needs. ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT: Overseeing school budgets, managing school supplies, scheduling maintenance, and implementing security procedures. PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: Hiring, supervising, and evaluating teachers and support staff. STUDENT SUPPORT AND DISCIPLINE: Setting and enforcing student behavior codes, conducting disciplinary actions, and guiding counseling services. COMMUNICATION & SAFETY: Acting as the primary contact for parents and the school district, creating a safe, positive learning environment, and responding to school safety incidents.
