Job Summary
Job Summary
School Therapist provides crisis counseling, trauma infused and social emotional therapy, clinical expertise and case management services to students in a school setting. The essential duties of the position include individual therapy, group therapy, and may on occasion liaison with other agencies and other forms of case management. Caseload is approximately 2 days/week. Is responsible for maintaining a clinical file on each student in the caseload. May attend IEP meetings and if applicant has experience attending or facilitating IEP's, this position can extend to a full time position working with the campus Principal on IEP facilitation.
Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of Introduction Resume Copy of License
Master Degree or higher degree in counseling, counseling psychology, psychology, or social work. Possesses a valid Calif. License to practice as an MFT, LCSW or psychologist. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required. Experience working in a special education setting required.
