Job Description:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of each project are executed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work performed adheres to established industry quality standards and project specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful and timely project completion within established financial guidelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Participate in required project meetings, including planning sessions and project closeout discussions, with project teams and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate overall project progress, key milestones, and any issues or risks to relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Required: Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification
- OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality control within construction or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and design professionals.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively report on project status and quality issues.
- Proficiency in standard construction management and documentation software is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
