Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Preconstruction - Estimator based in Baton Rouge, LA. The Estimator will support preconstruction efforts by preparing detailed construction estimates, performing accurate quantity take-offs, and managing project costs. This role includes analyzing project plans and specifications, developing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams is essential to providing accurate and timely project information.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and performing Quantity Take-offs.
- Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting to ensure project efficiency.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, project plans, and construction documents.
- Experience with construction estimating software and tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 4 years of experience in construction estimating or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
