What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Dynamic Bracing and Physical Therapy?
Dynamic Bracing & Physical Therapy | Spokane, WA
Are you a Physical Therapist looking for a clinic where you can actually practice physical therapy, build relationships with your patients, and continue developing as a clinician?
Dynamic Bracing & Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient practice in Spokane's University District.
We are a therapist-owned outpatient clinic with a strong reputation for hands-on, individualized patient care. While our clinic is particularly well known for Counterstrain and advanced manual therapy, Counterstrain experience is NOT required.
In fact, we are interested in meeting great Physical Therapists from a variety of clinical backgrounds.
Whether your strengths are in traditional orthopedic physical therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, sports medicine, manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, balance, neurological rehabilitation, or another area of PT—we'd like to hear from you.
One of the things that sets Dynamic Bracing & Physical Therapy apart is our extensive experience with Counterstrain, a hands-on treatment approach used extensively by several members of our clinical team.
Never heard of Counterstrain? That's completely fine.
You do not need previous Counterstrain training to work here.
What matters more to us is that you are:
- A thoughtful clinician
- Curious and willing to learn
- Passionate about helping patients improve
- Comfortable developing your own clinical style
- Interested in collaborating with other experienced therapists
- Someone who enjoys being part of a smaller, supportive team
For therapists interested in expanding their manual therapy skills, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced Counterstrain practitioners and gain exposure to treatment techniques you may not encounter in a traditional outpatient setting.
As a Physical Therapist with Dynamic Bracing & Physical Therapy, you will:
- Evaluate and treat a diverse outpatient patient population
- Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient's goals and condition
- Provide evidence-based treatment utilizing your own clinical strengths and experience
- Collaborate with other therapists on challenging or complex cases
- Educate patients about their condition, treatment and long-term health
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Develop relationships with patients, referral sources and the Spokane healthcare community
- Continue developing your clinical skills through mentorship, collaboration and continuing education
We are open to both experienced Physical Therapists and new graduates.
You do not need to come to us with a specific treatment philosophy or manual therapy certification.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds or is eligible for a Washington State Physical Therapist license
- Has graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Provides excellent patient care
- Communicates well with patients and coworkers
- Is dependable and self-motivated
- Enjoys learning and professional development
- Wants to become an important part of a locally owned practice
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
If you're a new PT who wants mentorship and the opportunity to develop your clinical skills alongside experienced therapists, we'd especially like to talk with you.
We're willing to build the position around the right person.
Full-time and part-time schedules will both be considered, making this a good opportunity for someone looking for a traditional full-time position as well as a therapist who may want greater flexibility.
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Medical insurance for eligible employees
- Paid time off
- SIMPLE IRA retirement plan
- Continuing education support
- Clinical mentorship
- Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling
- Exposure to Counterstrain and advanced manual therapy
- Collaborative therapist-owned practice
- Supportive small-clinic environment
- Opportunity to develop your own areas of clinical interest
- Established patient and referral base
- Convenient Spokane University District location
Dynamic Bracing & Physical Therapy is a locally owned outpatient Physical Therapy clinic located in Spokane's University District.
We believe excellent Physical Therapy doesn't have to follow one single treatment philosophy.
Our clinicians bring different skills and perspectives to the table, while working together around one goal:
Providing exceptional individualized care and helping our patients get better.
Counterstrain has become an important part of our clinic and our reputation, but we're equally interested in expanding the services and treatment options we can provide our community.
