The Asset Electrical Technician will maintain, repair and troubleshoot all automated equipment in the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Read electrical/hydraulic blueprints.
- Perform Electrical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic troubleshooting on Die Cast, CNC and other production related Assets.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens control circuits. Knowledge of GE Fanuc Robots, PLCs & MMI systems is a plus.
- Perform and execute mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on all equipment.
- Work within a team environment to Rewire and recondition machines as needed.
- Executing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Assist in Mechanical repairs within a team environment
- perform other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- 5 or more years of Industrial Electrician experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of control circuits, PLC, process controls, plant electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform PM.
- Die casting or plastics industry experience preferred, but not necessary.
Salary : $37 - $42
