Dyer Nursing and Rehab is looking for high level activity talent to bring the daily living experience to new levels for our residents/patients. One of the most important parts of their day is interacting with others through daily happenings with staff and other residents. It is a time to visit with others and enjoy something different in their day. Our activities staff is the key to making all that possible.

The Activities Aide will:

• Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
• Assist in creating the activity calendar
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures
• Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings
  
  
  

Activities Aide must have the following:

• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)
