Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Final Assembly Worker specializing in Wood Crating to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of custom wood crates designed to protect valuable equipment during shipping and storage. Duties
- Assemble wood crates using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure accurate measurements and secure construction.
- Some Final assembly of metal products may be required
- Determine crate dimensions, reinforcement needs, and special handling instructions.
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood components with precision, applying skills in framing, and woodworking.
- Conduct quality checks on completed crates for structural integrity, proper labeling, and compliance with safety standards.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move materials and finished crates within the workspace.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and tools efficiently for optimal workflow.
- Experience
- Experience in carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry), or woodworking is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes would be an asset.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, and tool operation
