Summary
The Welder will do the following, mig, tig, and stick welding, pipe, steel, and stainless steel welding, pipe fitting, receive instructions, prints, and work orders for the job, plans details of working procedure, tools and material requirements, fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals, repairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
Responsibilities of the Structural Welder include, but are not limited to:

Summary

Responsibilities of the Structural Welder include, but are not limited to:
- Mig and Flux-cored welding
- Carbon steel, steel, and stainless-steel welding
- Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job
- Plans details of working procedure, tools and material requirements
- Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals
- Repairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment
- Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
- Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts
- Builds up worn or defective surfaces
- Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
- 5 years of welding experience
- Familiar with iron worker, plasma cutter, pipe threader, and grinders
- Background check, physical, and drug test required
- Physical Demand: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Working Conditions: Shop environment
- Training/Certifications: Welding certificate
- Shift Time/Overtime: Day Shift, Monday through Friday 6am to 5pm.
