Summary
Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator will coordinate part manufacture with in-house and subcontracted sources, develop professional repair scopes of supply with inspection details and pictures that can be presented to the customer in the form of a quote, communicate effectively and consistently with internal and external clients, coordinate repair projects, and provide quotes and estimates for pump repairs.

Summary

Responsibilities of the Service Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinates service breakdowns and repair work between the customer and APO Service Technicians
- Optimize technician utilization through strategic geographical planning
- Reviews work orders to determine the next course of action in timely manner
- Prepares quotes for service repair jobs
- Research and orders parts
- Own work orders from creation through invoice
- Weekly review of open work orders past 30 days
- Quotes sent to customer with copy to salesman in less than 48 hours
- Register new equipment for warranty and extended coverage
- Files Ingersoll Rand warranty jobs in Tavant and follow up to make sure they get processed and paid in a timely manner
- Support your Team by responding to all media requests (i.e. phone, service email box, etc.) as needed
- Checks inventory for technicians who need parts ASAP order parts as needed
- 5 years of experience in service industry and coordinator role.
- Broad knowledge and experience in the industry
- Knowledgeable of computers and technology, specifically SAMPro, Ingersoll Rand, Tavant, Passport and iStore.
- Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Physical Demand: The Service Coordinator will be required to: read; communicate verbally and/or in written form; remember and analyze certain information; and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines. While performing the duties of this job, they may be required to stand, walk, and sit. Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Working Conditions: The Service Coordinator position is in an office setting, logging client and customer data as well as drawing up reports. Time is also spent on the shop floor.

- Shift Time/Overtime: Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm Workweeks are generally 40 hours, though some overtime or nontraditional hours may be necessary, particularly to meet client needs.
