About the Role: As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales opportunities and providing exceptional customer service to homeowners. Your excellent communication skills, persuasive abilities, and product knowledge will be vital in converting leads into satisfied customers. Working closely with the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Who You Are:

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales (ideal but not required) 
  • Competitive, hunger to win 
  • Adaptable, outgoing and persuasive communication style 
  • Ability to follow through on sales leads 
  • The perfect role for a selling technician or someone who can price custom HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical jobs. 
  • Knows trades equipment well and market value. 

 

Inside Sales Representative Key Responsibilities: 

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels. 
  • Follow-up on open warm leads that outside sales team has already pursued 
  • Engage with homeowners, understanding their service needs, and recommending suitable HVAC, plumbing, or electrical solutions. 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and pricing structures to confidently address customer queries. 
  • Build rapport and establish trust with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing their concerns. 
  • Proactively make outbound calls to follow up on leads, answer questions, and convert prospects into customers. 
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to coordinate customer appointments and ensure a smooth sales process. 
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about products, services, promotions, and pricing to customers. 
  • Maintain customer records, update the CRM system, and track sales activities to ensure accurate reporting. 
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas, contributing to the overall success of the sales team. 
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques through training and professional development opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation initiatives. 
  • Work with the service and installation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and satisfaction. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service initiatives. 

 
Inside Sales Representative Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within the residential service industry. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers. 
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. 
  • Persuasive and influential with the ability to handle objections and close sales. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. 
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is a plus. 
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. 
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to improve things both big and small. 
  • Highly organized, ability to act quickly while still having attention to detail.

Compensation:

$50-60K Commission; Target Total Compensation of $100K
