Our goal is to achieve and maintain equal employment opportunities, with policies in place to maintain a work environment free from discrimination.  IB Assessment Proctor - Temp PositionHourly Rate: $20-$30/hourApplicants must be available for ALL of the following dates and times, though specific hours are subject to change depending on testing needs:Hours: 8AM-4PM each dayDates:February 2 - 20 (No exams on Feb. 13, 16-17)April 27 - May 2 (No exams on May 1)Position OverviewDwight School, an innovative preschool-grade 12 coeducational school on the Upper Westside of Manhattan, is currently offering in-person and remote academic programming for the 2020-21 school year. Under the direction of the IB Diploma Program Coordinators and working with faculty in the Dwight School, as a professional member, the Test Proctor oversees the organization and management of the testing rooms at the testing locations for Dwight School. The Test Proctor is responsible for proctoring and administering standardized tests to groups and individuals while maintaining a quiet atmosphere for testing. The Test Proctor is responsible for following the standard testing protocol as required by faculty or staff. Separately, there will be AP exams occurring in another location and some proctors will be used for the facilitation of AP exams. The locations are at our Main Campus located on the Upper West Side and at the Dwight School Athletic Center located on the Upper East Side.ResponsibilitiesMaintains a quiet, secure atmosphere for testingMaintains daily testing schedules, records, and test filesMaintains confidentiality and security of all test materials, test logs, and other test documentsUnderstands and upholds test procedures; adheres to academic integrity policies and proceduresReturns testing materials to appropriate instructors or agencies as requiredWorks with faculty to have information/materials to proctor exams in a timely mannerWorks with all students, including those who have need of special accommodations, including, but not limited to reading tests, scribing tests, or providing special testing climate.Reports all communication to center staff in a timely mannerAttends all required trainingWorks independently and responsibly in the absence of supervisionPerforms any other duties or tasks as assigned by DwightExperience in education settings preferred but not requiredWe’re ready to welcome your ideas, views, and your innovative and ambitious spirit. We are committed to making our recruitment practices barrier-free and as accessible as possible for everyone.
