The Foundation Associate is responsible for administrative support for most Foundation office initiatives, and collaborates frequently with (and provides support to) all members of the team. Requirements and ResponsibilitiesDatabase:Maintain Raiser’s Edge database to ensure accurate, thorough records of all constituenciesAssist in prospect research on all constituencies to identify top prospects and solicitation strategiesProcess all donations and generate gift acknowledgment lettersPrepare donor profiles and development reports as neededDocument protocols for all database activityPrepare mailing lists and coordinate all print and digital mailingsReconcile revenues and brokerage accounts with the bookkeeper, and prepare audit reports as needed Department Support/Office Administration:Provide support as needed to all Foundation staff with fundraising initiatives, office projects, and day-to-day activitiesAssist in the management of overall office operations, including taking inventory of and ordering suppliesCoordinate various paper mailings and assist in the creation of electronic communications and other digital mailingsAssist in the preparation of reports for Foundation staff and external audiencesManage office calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel Events:Attend and support logistics for key Foundation and School events throughout the year Spring Benefit: Manage the silent auction by coordinating approximately 250-300 auction items, detailing inventory, writing item descriptions, and organizing distributionOversee spreadsheet of all auction itemsParticipate in day-of run of showAssist in the planning and execution of various Foundation events, including promotion, managing event RSVP’s, and preparing materialsRecord notes and prepare minutes as needed at various meetings QualificationsBachelor’s Degree requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills required.
