Dwight-Englewood School, the largest independent school in Bergen County, NJ, and a growing, vibrant, and diverse learning community in the New York City metro area, is seeking a Grounds Worker, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. This position will report to the Grounds Manager.
General Responsibilities:
Maintaining campus grounds including but not limited to,
Weeding, Planting, Mowing, Edging, Trimming, Pruning, Watering,
Litter and trash removal,
Assisting with campus event setups and breakdowns,
Operation of grounds equipment,
General maintenance duties,
Custodial work,
Snow removal,
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of lawn and grounds care,
Willing to learn various skills,
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs,
Effective communication skills,
Valid driver's license required.
