Maintenance Worker

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced hospitality/property management environment.

This is not a traditional 9–5 position. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability who can work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing routine maintenance inspections and repairs
• Troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
• Painting, patching, and caulking
• Installing door locks and balcony door handles
• Garbage disposal replacements
• Repairing shower valves, faucets, valve stems, toilets, flappers, wax rings, and flanges
• Clearing clogged drains
• Hanging blinds and replacing TVs/remotes
• Assisting with occasional appliance and furniture replacements
• Maintaining accurate work orders and records through our Property Care X app
• Responding professionally and promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair tasks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Requirements:

• Must have your own truck or work van and basic tools
• Must be comfortable using Slack Messenger for communication
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (clean record required)
• This role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks regularly. These include, but are not limited to: lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, working in confined spaces, operating power tools, and performing repetitive motions.

Compensation:

Pay will be based on experience and discussed during the interview process.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
