General Machine Operator - Excavator / Heavy Equipment

Dwayne Noe Construction LLC is a site work contractor based in Middle Tennessee and in business since 2010. We do site, grading, water, sewer and storm work. Our job sites are primarily in Franklin and Williamson County, so we are hiring operators who live within about a 40-minute drive of Franklin (Brentwood, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Columbia, Thompson's Station, Fairview, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Antioch, Nashville).

We are hiring a full-time General Machine Operator. Your main seat is the excavator, and the more machines you can run, the more hours you get.

Equipment:

- Excavator / trackhoe (mid-size and full-size)

- Skid steer / track loader

- Backhoe

- Wheel loader

- Dozer

- GPS grade control experience is a plus but not required

What you will do:

- Dig and backfill for water, sewer and storm lines, trenching to grade

- Mass excavation, loading trucks and stockpiling

- Set pipe and structures with the crew, work safely around people in the trench

- Spread and compact stone and fill, clean up and dress sites

- Do daily walk-arounds and basic greasing and maintenance on your machine

What we need:

- Excavator experience on commercial or residential site work (more experience is better, tell us how many years)

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites around Franklin

- Able to start early (typically 6:00 to 6:30 AM)

- Able to pass a background check
