What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dozer Operator - Heavy Equipment position at Dwayne Noe Construction LLC?
Dwayne Noe Construction LLC is a site work contractor based in Middle Tennessee and in business since 2010. We do site, grading, water, sewer and storm work. Our job sites are primarily in Franklin and Williamson County, so we are hiring operators who live within about a 40-minute drive of Franklin (Brentwood, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Columbia, Thompson's Station, Fairview, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Antioch, Nashville).
We are hiring a full-time Dozer Operator. Operators who can also run other machines get the most hours, so tell us everything you can run.
Equipment:
- Dozer (D3 through D8 class), rough and finish grading
- Excavator / trackhoe
- Skid steer / track loader
- Backhoe
- Wheel loader
- GPS grade control experience is a plus but not required
What you will do:
- Rough and finish grade building pads, lots, roads and parking areas to plan and stakes
- Spread and compact stone and fill
- Support utility crews on water, sewer and storm installs
- Do daily walk-arounds and basic greasing and maintenance on your machine
- Work safely around crews, trucks and the public
What we need:
- At least 2 years of dozer experience on commercial or residential site work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites around Franklin
- Able to start early (typically 6:00 to 6:30 AM)
- Able to pass a background check
